WE’RE WORKING TO TURN THE TIDE

The Red Squirrel, once a common sight in Britain, is now a cherished symbol of our native wildlife. As the UK’s indigenous squirrel species, Reds have co-evolved with our forests and other native creatures.

Sadly, the Red Squirrel’s future is in peril due to the invasive North American Grey Squirrel.

Join us in protecting this iconic species and restoring its populations in the southwestern region of England.

HOW DO WE HELP?

Encourage the protection of tree & woodland health, & the restoration of our native biodiversity.

Educate the public on the plight of Red Squirrels & the negative damage Grey Squirrels cause to native flora & fauna.

Create a ‘Roadmap to the Reds’ – combining all above efforts to establish Red Squirrels back into the South-West.

HOW CAN YOU HELP

There are countless ways you can help us protect our native woodland and save the red squirrel. You can make a donation (however big or small), join our events, or volunteer your time to help educate or fundraise for our cause. We always appreciate our amazing volunteers!
