Red Squirrel South West will be holding a free seminar to discuss the current reality of living with pine martens. Head keepers from two Northern Irish estates, Baronscourt and Shanes Castle, will be discussing their experiences with pine marten and are aiming to share the benefits of potential reintroductions.

There will also be talks by the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, Clinton Devon Estates, The British Association for Shooting and Conservation and European Squirrel Initiative. Topics will focus on wildlife management, the grey squirrel issue, their impact on both the woodlands and the economy and how to manage them.

The seminar will be held at Offwell Village Hall in Honiton, Devon, on Friday 24th April. Attendance is free but spaces are limited. Register your details, including any dietary requirements, via eventbrite in order to reserve your space.

Registration is at 9.30am on the day, with the seminar starting at 10.
